Savings with RaboDirect Bank?

Do you have a savings account with RaboDirect bank?

You may have seen the recent press coverage with regard to RaboDirect withdrawing their banking services and the immediate impact this is going to have on their Irish savers. If you’re one of the 90,000 affected customers with money deposited with them, you’ll have already received a letter notifying you as to what you need to do.

Currently, the options appear to be fairly limited – you can put your savings into account with another bank or you could look to invest them into an investment fund. As you are probably aware, deposit rates for savers are at all-time lows so may not offer great long-term value.  That’s why investing your savings is an option worth exploring.

Zurich, who incidentally managed the RaboDirect PRSA pension product, are currently offering an attractive introductory special offer exclusively for RaboDirect customers. From the 13th March until the 31st May 2018 all new customers who invest a minimum lump sum of €5,000 in an Investment Bond will receive a €100 Welcome Bonus.

All RaboDirect accounts should be closed prior to the 16th May.
